Official Spanish Sworn Translations | MAEC-Appointed Translators | Physical & Digital Certification
Need a Spanish sworn translation for a visa, residency, university, court or other official purpose in Spain?
Yashvi Translation arranges certified translations through Spanish Ministry-appointed Sworn Translators (Traductores Jurados).
We also check your documents for missing apostilles, incomplete pages and certification requirements before translation begins, helping you avoid unnecessary corrections and delays.
Request a Quote — Send Your Documents for Review
A Spanish sworn translation (traducción jurada) is officially certified by an authorised Spanish Sworn Translator.
It may be required for immigration, academic, civil registry and legal procedures in Spain.
An ordinary certified translation or Indian notarisation is not a substitute when the receiving authority specifically requires a Spanish sworn translation.
Not every document needs translating. We help you check what is required before ordering.
Check Spanish Sworn Translation Requirements
For an Indian Police Clearance Certificate requiring an apostille and Spanish sworn translation, the package may contain:
1. Original document copy: The complete PCC, including its reference details and official seals.
2. MEA Apostille: The apostille attached to the document, where required.
3. Spanish sworn translation: Translation of the PCC, apostille and relevant endorsements.
4. Official certification: The authorised translator’s certification, with the appropriate signature and stamp or qualified electronic signature.
What Yashvi checks: Complete pages, names, dates, apostille details and certification before delivery.
Illustrative example. Exact document and submission requirements depend on the receiving authority.
Step 1 — Share your documents. Send clear scans, including reverse sides and apostilles. Tell us the destination authority and deadline.
Step 2 — Receive your quotation. We review the documents and confirm the price, certification format and expected turnaround.
Step 3 — Translation and certification. An appropriately appointed Spanish Sworn Translator prepares and certifies the translation.
Step 4 — Final review and delivery. We coordinate the completeness check and arrange secure digital or physical delivery.
Pricing depends on the language, number of pages, document complexity, certification format and urgency.
For example, a one-page PCC with an apostille requires different preparation from a multi-page transcript with tables and official stamps.
We provide a project-specific quotation, including separate apostille assistance or courier charges where applicable.
Send your complete documents for an accurate price and delivery estimate.
You can check the appointed translator’s name, authorised language and registration details in the official Spanish Ministry directory.
Yashvi coordinates the service, while the authorised translator is responsible for issuing the official certification.
Consider a student applying for a Spanish visa.
The applicant sends a Police Clearance Certificate but has not yet obtained the required MEA apostille.
If the document is translated immediately, the later-issued apostille may be missing from the certified translation.
Our approach: Check the apostille requirement first, then arrange translation of the complete document.
This helps avoid paying for a second translation.

What Will You Receive?
Your Spanish sworn translation package includes the translated document, the translator’s official certification and the relevant source-document copy.
The applicable apostille, seals and endorsements are covered where required.
Why include the source copy?
Spanish certification rules require the source document to accompany the translation in the prescribed format. For electronic certification, the digital signature must cover both the source and translated content.
We check the completed package before delivery to identify missing pages, certification details or inconsistencies.
Yashvi can coordinate both formats, subject to the appointed translator’s availability and the receiving authority’s requirements.
Physical Sworn Translation
An original paper translation with the authorised translator’s handwritten signature, official stamp and certification. Courier delivery is available.
An electronic translation certified using a qualified electronic signature under Spain’s Order AUC/213/2025.
The signature can be checked through Spain’s VALIDe verification service, helping verify the signer and detect changes to the signed document.
We can arrange separate digital and physical certified versions where available. Confirm the accepted format before ordering.
A scanned image of a physical stamp is not equivalent to a qualified electronic signature.
